Our food truck, or food trailer which is a more appropriate description, is housed in a large small caravan that we have lovingly converted into a rolling restaurant!
Our food truck, or food trailer which is a more appropriate description, is housed in a large small caravan that we have lovingly converted into a rolling restaurant.
When we started in 2008, “food truck” did not exist as a concept in Sweden. We were pioneers in the industry and raised many laughs when we came up with our “kitchen on wheels”. For us it was an artistic experiment as much as a business idea.
The original idea was to wake up the streets with something odd and exciting. An imaginative addition to the street scene that broke the mould. We wanted to mimic a “chiringuito”, you know, those cozy beach cafes along the beach.
A chiringuito is a simple place, a few chairs and tables, simple food, drinks, chips, ice cream, nice music, nice vibe, nice beach life far from the hustle and bustle of the city. We thought there was a need for a chiringuito in Sweden.
Over the years, we have successfully developed the business idea and developed a concept that essentially resembles a traditional food truck that has now become a common feature of the street scene, i.e. ambulatory alternative fast food.
However, we have never let go of our origin, to delight people and offer a greater experience, where the food is of course central, but where there are also other wonderful elements with a broader cultural direction. We are more than just a food truck.
Our Core Is Responsiveness
We are a food truck, and the most important thing of all is to be responsive to the needs expressed by different customers, for us, service and accessibility for the customer comes first. We come to you, it is smooth, fun and successful for you.
We are happy to cook for corporate events, construction lunches, birthday parties, christenings, weddings, weddings, festivals and more. 20 guests? Or 2000? No problem! Just get in touch and we’ll put together a package that fits.
We are Stockholm based but very portable – a bit of the charm of food trucks.

A big part of the success or failure of a food truck is a lack of consistency where the food itself is concerned. Whether you're running a burger truck or selling gourmet pretzels, you have to have consistency in your recipes.
For example, food truckers in Texas and California can make more than $250,000 per year. The average profit margin is around 6.2%. It's important to also factor in the costs of goods that you are selling, operating costs, and potential sales volume.
It depends on the location and the type of food being served, but typically food trucks can expect to serve anywhere from 50 to 200 customers per day in the first month of business.
Food trucks make an average of $250,000-$500,000 annually, or $20,000 - $42,000 monthly. That might seem like a big range – so this guide will help you to calculate your food truck's revenue and profit margin potential. Along the way, you'll develop some strategies for maximizing your restaurant's income.
43% of Middle-Class Millennials Make the Greatest Customer Category for Food Truck. People aged between 25 and 44 years eat mostly from food trucks and account for 43% of food truck sales.
By 1872, a food vendor with the name Walter Scott conceived of the lunch wagon. Modifying a covered wagon by adding windows, Scott sold sandwiches, pies, and coffee to pressmen and journalists in front of a newspaper office in Providence Rhode Island.
It's no wonder the concept has grown in recent years and become hot spots for foodies. Those living in California or visiting there are in luck. Food & Wine released “The 10 Best Food Truck Cities in the U.S.” on April 19 and Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Diego and Oakland all made the list.
